She kept firing shots, and after a bit, she started skimming the tree's bark, then actually hitting the tree.

After 3 shots, Hazel hit the log. She then took a couple of more shots, shooting the log multiple times in a row.

Hazel continued to fire at a steady pace at the logs. The faster it went, though, the more she missed. Eventually, she started firing arrows randomly, not caring where they went.
