Name: Catherine "Seeker" White

Race: Human

House: None...

Age: 19

Love Interest/Crush: Nobody...

Role: Peasant / Ranger (Primary Class) and Mage (Secondary Class)

Appearance/ Clothes/ Equipment: Catherine stands about 5'9''. Her skin is pale with a few cuts from various injures that she's sustained over the years, along with the occasional little scar from close encounters with death. She has moderately long auburn hair that reaches down below her shoulders and is usually a bit messy, accompanied by piercing blue eyes that leave quite the impression on those she stares at. Catherine wears a long sleeved dark grey top and black rugged trousers. Over the top of these, she wears light leather armor that protects her chest and shoulders, as well as pieces that cover her hands, wrists, feet and shins. To help keep her identity hidden, she also wears a grey cloak and hood.

Catherine's gear consists of a leather satchel down by her waist which she uses to store various pieces of equipment as well as valuable items. Although she is part mage, Catherine mainly relies on her ranger weaponry; an intricate wooden bow with small steel plates to help support the frame and two steel short swords. The only magical equipment she carries is a small book with various illusion spells scribbled onto it's pages, and two pieces of chalk she uses to write with.

Her animal companion is a large black Dire Wolf with vibrant amber eyes called Nix, that matches her appearance with fur just as rugged and messy as her appearance.

Personality: Catherine likes to be the strong but silent type of person. Only speaking when spoken to, and is found most of the time sitting or leaning against something whilst lost in thought. However, she is one to hold a grudge, and although appears to be quite passive can be cold and brutal when she needs to be.

History: Catherine was born into a relatively poor family of blacksmiths up north of the human capital. She learned the harsh lessons of life from a young age due to this, and spent most of her time huddling by the forge trying to keep warm and happy. Remaining reasonably content with her life until the age of sixteen; she finally realized that if she remained like this for much longer things would just get worse. So, like most desperate youths she turned to petty thievery. However, she was rather unsuccessful and ended up getting caught most of the time, and decided a more direct approach was necessary. Going a few miles out from town, she preformed her first successful highway robbery using the traditional line of "Stand and Deliver" whilst threatening a noble with a sword she took from the smith.

Returning back to her town, the authorities eventually caught up with her and she made a hasty escape. Fleeing to a small place two towns away, she set up her new "hunting" grounds there, using the skills she gained from her father to make herself a nice set of gear from various items she stole, and earning her infamous nickname "Seeker" in the process. During this time, Catherine spent a lot of time aiming high, trying to take out more difficult targets such as wealthy merchants and the occasional mage. It was from one of these mage robberies from which she took several spell tomes of illusion magic from. Realizing that learning magic such as this could help her out considerably, she spent some time off learning the few spells she picked up. After mastering those that she had, Catherine came back with a vengeance, hitting bigger and more difficult targets with use of her new abilities.

However, what's most interesting about her time spent there was the odd connection she gained with the dire wolf, later named Nix. Nix was famed for being the big bad wolf of the town she was staying at, and during her time running around and ambushing travelers Catherine bumped into the black wolf several times. Yet instead of killing each other at sight, they ended up forming an odd partnership. Nix would scare the cart animal off the road, and then she would then go in and secure the loot. After, Catherine would take the valuables and Nix would take any food, and usually the animal as well. Eventually they became as close as animal and human could get, and thus Nix became her companion. Once the heat got too high even for her standards, she fled once more but this time with a good load of equipment, a dire wolf as her friend and a few years of experience. With this, Catherine began traveling all over the place, never stopping for too long and making the most of the events that followed.
